Abandoned Commitment in Congress

Have you noticed the forgotten people? The Citizens of the United States of America; yes us? Does it concern you that Congress went on vacation without finishing up on the illegal immigration bill and then now are passing some bunch of BS and convoluted crap that no one can understand, will cost the taxpayer’s billions and they refuse to honor the laws already on the books? Amazing isn’t it.
And then some construction workers made some noise on Capital Hill the day before the Memorial Three Day Weekend and some paranoid staffer or just some government mucky muck calls in that they heard shots fired in a parking garage. Thus effectively turning the three-day weekend into a four-day weekend? I only have one question, where did they call in the shots fired anonymous call from? Bermuda? I can see them now at Club Med sporting a fruity alcoholic beverage with one of those Umbrellas in it and getting a body massage, using the house phone.
You see Congress has abandoned their commitment and their oaths to uphold the Constitution. But of course they know what’s best for us don’t they, forget what the people want. And maybe they are right, because everything they do sucks anyway, so maybe the government should stay on permanent vacation and not come back. But lets get them off the payroll, deny them their retirement and kick them out of office shall we? Consider this in 2006.
