Are you one of those people who believes that seven is a lucky number? Well, if so, then a seventh anniversary has to be very lucky and the anniversary gift ideas for number seven have to be just as lucky as well. We’re going to cover both the traditional and modern gift ideas for the seventh wedding anniversary.
After a bit of a rough time with anniversary number six, unless your man is an avid golfer and you haven’t gone the wood route for anniversary number five, the traditional and modern gifts for your seventh wedding anniversary actually offer a variety of great ideas to make your seventh anniversary one that you won’t have to sweat over.
The traditional gift ideas for your seventh anniversary are wool and copper. We’ll take wool first. Wool is common in many types of clothing. Probably the most common type of garment that is made of wool is the sweater. And guys, we all know how great ladies look in a nice sweater. In case you think not, just take a good look at Lana Turner in one of her famous sweaters. Yes, your wife will absolutely love a nice warm woolly sweater, especially when it comes to those cold winter months. And, if your anniversary actually comes during one of those cold winter months, then the sweater is an absolutely perfect gift. Of course, ladies, men also look great in sweaters so no reason you can’t get your husband one as well.
Not into sweaters? No problem. How about a nice warm wool scarf. And, for you ladies, if you really want to impress your husband, why not knit him a wool scarf yourself? Yes, it’s a lot of work, but isn’t he worth it? Besides. it will be a lot cheaper than going out and buying one.
For those of you not into wool, there’s always the traditional gift of copper. Here is where you can get very creative. Ladies, if your husband is a coin collector, why not get him a rare collection of pennies? Yes, you’ll probably have to pay quite a few bucks for each one, but this is one gift that over time will actually increase in value.
If you really want to do something corny but cute, get your wife a new copper mailbox for your house and promise her that everyday you will make sure that she has a nice romantic card or something inside it to brighten her day.
If you want to go for the modern gift on this anniversary, you’re looking at getting desk sets. There are probably more kinds of desk sets that you can get your work at home guy or gal than Carter has liver pills. Your standard desk set will usually come with a letter opener, pen and pencil holder, letter holder, business card holder and memo case. Of course there are many variations on this so take your time in picking one out.
There is no reason not to be able to come up with a great anniversary gift for your seventh year of wedded bliss.
