For those of you who are looking for a great anniversary gift for your twelfth wedding anniversary, you are in luck. This year offers some of the finest gifts you can get for your wife. Guys, you may have a little trouble getting something you’re going to like, but let’s not forget who this big day is really for. We’re going to dive into some of the loveliest gifts this side of heaven. Where were they for number ten?
The traditional and modern gifts for number twelve are both show stoppers. We’ll kick this review off with the traditional side of things.
Silk or linen. You got it guys. This is where you get to buy your wife something really sexy for your anniversary. Actually, maybe you guys do get something out of this one. Anyway, we all know what’s made out of silk. That’s right, sleepwear. If twelve years of marriage hasn’t quite taken the spark out of your love life yet, there are plenty of items you can get that are made out of silk.
For starters, if you want to be a little on the conservative side and not appear too obvious as to your intentions, you can get your wife a pair of silk pajamas. That’s right, tops and bottoms. She’ll love them. Not only that, but she’ll really see that you love her as well. Of course, if she knows that you only have one thing on your mind and there’s no point in hiding it, you can get her a nice silk teddy or nightie. Both will have more than the desired effect on both of you. Just remember, these gifts, especially if they’re well made, are not cheap. Some sleepwear can go for as much as a couple hundred bucks. So guys, I sure hope it’s worth your one night of fun.
If you’d rather stay out of the bedroom, which is a good idea for some of you guys, you might want to go the linen route and get your wife a nice linen tablecloth for the dining room table. You can spring for one that’s rather on the plain side or go all out and get one with some really nice patterns on it. Just be prepared to open up the wallet for this purchase. Linen tablecloths can go for quite a bit of money these days. Make sure you check the cleaning instructions on these before you make your purchase. Remember, you’re going to be spilling food all over this gift.
If you want to go the modern route, this is where you can really splurge guys. The modern gift is pearls. That’s right. And please, don’t go for the fake pair. Go for the real thing. Yes, women can tell the difference between and fake pair of pearls and a real pair so don’t even think of trying to put one over on her.
As you can see, the twelfth anniversary is one where you can get an anniversary gift that really says; “I love you”. So take advantage of it. When number 25 comes around, you’ll be glad you did.
