Do you know how to balance your heart and your head in relationships? Here are some tips and strategies to do just that - balance your heart and your head.
How to balance your heart with your head
New relationships and the feelings that go with them are great. I would never suggest that you not allow yourself to feel those great feelings.
The problem is that we sometimes get caught in the trap of believing that those feelings are enough to go on for a long-term relationship.
This is where your head comes in. This is a good place to ask yourself some questions and provide yourself with some honest answers. What, did I say honest anwers? Yes I sure did. This is one of the areas of life that we are most likely to lie to ourselves and others.
Robert Fulghum has said
“Choose your life’s partner carefully. From this one decision will come 90% of your happiness or misery in life.”
Is this a person a good match for you?
