When we allow armaments conglomerates to have ex-Presidents working the halls of power through nepotism and graft or greed; we are allowing taxpayer’s money to be used in a manner that will destroy all the built up goodwill (an asset paid for in years of office and still paid for in protection and pensions). It sends a message to other nations and to the citizens and children we hope will create change.
George the First of the United States being a director of Carlyle Corporation alongside his backers and financiers of the Bin Laden family was especially troublesome during the aftermath of the 9-11 events while his son tried to get Henry Kissinger (his boss who formulated and prepared the ‘pre-emptive war plans) to chair the ‘independent’ commission to investigate 9-11. The tentacles of power and intrigue surrounding BCCI, Iran/Contra and the S & L crisis are varied and pernicious. The media will not go into the kind of investigation needed and why should they? After all is said and done the people really don’t want to know how they manage to get their share of imperialistic crime. And if the people like to hear the kind of pablum that Fox TV spews forth while advertisers are sucking on the sump-pump of sensationalism; who can blame these advertisers?
Personally I think the blatant admission by FOX media giant owner Rupert Murdoch that no employee of is can say anything he doesn’t approve of is testimony to a media that is not independent or fair. I think the use of the airwaves for such propaganda is evidence of anything but a democracy – and it is Synarchy. But most people are so brainwashed as to think there is no Plan and they think the rich people are stupid enough not to have all bases covered. These plebian drones who accept the table-washing of the One Pie economic structure are going along with a ‘conspiracy’ they deny even exists.
