Grow Up Congresswoman McKinney!

Here we go again. Another “progressive” politician screaming racism everywhere you look. In this case, Congresswoman Cynthia Mckinney, who represents the Atlanta area, is crying racism because, well, an officer did not recognize her and had the “nerve” to stop her. In such a “classy” manner, she struck the officer. Now, there is talk about charges being pressed against her.
As usual, Mckinney, who is black, claims racist attitudes are what led to her being stopped along with her new changed look. She did a personal makeover but certainly not internally. Actor Danny Glover has taken to her cause calling her “sister” and saying she must be defended. No mention of such a word to a white congresswoman has been reported by Glover. Then again, he is just an actor.
Mckinney has a long history of irrational acts including claiming President Bush knew 9/11 was going to happen and that he would profit off of the horror. Berating security for checking her credentials is also nothing new for her. In other words, she is a pain-in-the-neck. Racist conspiracies galore are nothing abnormal for her.
Worse, what does this say about the voters who have put her into office for some time now? Not much at all. Electing someone who screams racism at every turn or who says things totally unproven shows a lack of intelligence to say the least. But anti-establishment, anti-white male, anti-American crap sells in some areas of this nation and Ms. Mckinney has done well financially from it.
The truth is she should be charged with a crime. It is time to grow up. Yelling or hitting people who are doing their job is a disgrace, especially from a representative. Everyone knows if Mckinney was white and struck a black officer, she would not only be charged with a crime by now but huge protests against her would have started along with calls for her to resign. It is simply time to confront this race-racket.
