Liberalism and the Fabric of Our Society

Liberalism and Socialism is very problematic for human civilizations in that it pushes down the individual while purporting to empower him. Of course any liberal will tell you that their views are more socially correct or politically correct and are the most fair for the individual.
Yet, if each individual is equal to every other individual in every single possible way then there is no such thing as being an individual anymore. In fact all you would have created is a socialist beehive of humanity generally that is what we are doing in the United States of America and it is too happening around the world.
Capitalism and competition amongst various endeavors of mankind promotes a forward progression of the species that is evident in such nations as the United States of America or at least it was in the past although things are changing now towards a more liberal view of life and civilization. It seems rather unfortunate that we would throw away all that we are and all that we have built and change now to try something new.
You see Socialism is not a new concept and neither is communism. And both of these formats for civilization and society or government have never worked in the past and therefore it does not make sense to change our country now, which happens to be the most successful country in the world.
You cannot deny the United States of America is the greatest nation ever created in the history of the human species. Why would you want to screw it up? Liberals say they are not screwing it up and that they are making it better and more fair for everyone. Indeed, living in a utopia sounds great, but exactly who is going to build this utopia?
We certainly cannot live in a utopia yet and until we build it; why pretend it exists. Great civilizations are built by individuals who have strength of character and fervor to make it happen, but if we make everyone equal there will be no individuals left to build this great utopia that we all seek and this is only one reason why liberalism is a lie. Please consider this in 2006.
