Lie Detector Tests for All Border Patrol

It has been said that you can get anything over the border between the Mexico and the United States that you want as longer to pay off a border patrol officer. In fact 35 border patrol officers were arrested on the border between U.S. and Mexico last year. If we put more border patrol officers on duty there will be more people to watch and they will learn very quick the ropes of been dishonest and accepting bribes.
We must give all border patrol officers lie detector tests every six months to prevent this. If a border patrol officer fails to pass a lie detector test, then they must lose their pension and be fired. That is only fair to the American People. And when these folks signed up for the job they promised to be good citizens.
This is not too harsh considering that the United States of America’s federal government is required to protect the American people from foreign invaders. Currently the number of the legal aliens coming across our border is set at about one million per year. And the amount of drugs, which come over the U.S.-Mexico border each year is in the neighborhood of 10,000 tons that is known.
If our border patrol officers are on the take, then coyotes who smuggle illegal aliens over our borders and the MS-13 gangs and drugs cannot be stopped. Lie detector tests we know work and it makes sense to use them all border patrol officers, they simply cannot be trusted and we have already used this in a sting operation. Please consider this in 2006.
