Well here we are at a lull looking ahead and preparing for the 2006 Hurricane Season. Many are not counting down the days to Christmas but rather the number of days until the 2006 Hurricane Season, as there is an awful lot to do in a very short amount of time. Mother Nature showed us the record breaking 2005 Tropical Hurricane Season just how powerful she can be and some believe it was merely a glimmer of what she is truly possible of. Yet with 3 Category Five Hurricanes in one season and plunging deep into the Greek Alphabet we see that we are no match for Mother Nature and she hardly cares if we have been naughty or nice. She is coming to down the chimney, walls and put cars in trees just to remind us of who is really running things around here.
Mother Nature has shown us that we live on the surface of the Planet and we are at her mercy. If we choose to live in cities under sea level then we need stronger infrastructures in place. If we chose to build resorts, casinos, and homes on the beaches in the Gulf or along the Atlantic seaboard we will need to build them stronger and with better protections. Will they hold one more year? No one knows for sure, but we do know one thing and that is the 2006 Tropical Hurricane Season is coming ready or not. Think on it.
