Real World Politics

Do you ever wonder what is really going on in the world? What kinds of deals are being made in Machiavellian settings as we line up allies and assistance to promote our nations will over those who wish us ill? Many would like to know what is really going on and the real world politics behind it, while others would rather just know it is getting done and feel safe in their living rooms. Recently a very intelligent person stated:
“There are 2 sides to every spectrum. Most Americans are comfortable at home while there are people traveling the world, quietly killing leaders and kingpins who support things that this government does not. Quite honestly, it’s best that we DON’T know all the details of what’s really going on.”
Of course as a Think Tanker myself I cannot be made to comment on such a statement at this time. But I will say that the American People do not have a clue as to how the rest of the world works in the safety of their living rooms, as they play armchair generals and speak out of things they know nothing about. Getting all worked up over things and not realizing the reality.
We must protect the American People. This is the only real duty of government and why we must insist upon it. The government exists because “we the people allow it to exist” This is not a game of the government no longer needing the people. This is a matter of the people allowing for the government. We own it and it is ours and of course we must be reminded of why we have set it up, to protect us. And that means to do whatever it takes.
Sometimes that is not such a cut and dry issue in a world filled with International Terrorism and those who wish us ill. But we must understand that there is a lot more going on than what we see, hear and read about in the mass media. So what do you say you? Consider all this in 2006.
