“We’ll go dancing in the dark, walking through the park and reminiscing” – Little River Band
I went to a college that sat on a hill and over looked a lake. Across the lake stood an airfield. The view at night was spectacular and very romantic.
When my wife and I were dating, we would sit on the steps of the administration building, watching the planes take off and land. We spend a lot of time there getting to know each other better. This holds many fond memories for us.
A few years ago, we went back to that college on the hill and watched the planes again. This was one of our more romantic married dates. It did bring back many memories and feelings of the early years.
“Now as the years roll on, each time we hear our favorite song
The memories come along…spending the hours reminiscing.” - Little River Band
You may not be able to physically go back to those locations that hold special memories. There are other ways that you can relive those happy times.
Doing this can help you remember things that first attracted you to each other. This may evoke more loving emotions and draw you closer together.
So turn on the music and once again “go dancing in the dark…reminiscing”.
