Joe never addresses a fact. At most he parrots others and in this case all they have said is that art allows for the presentation of offensive material in a way to encourage understanding. That is true.
But when art is allowed to stand as if the behavior is acceptable it becomes something that must be countered. And when agendas that include getting more converts to the lesbian path it is fraught with issues just as is pedophilia and incest. All these things are part of the Cycle of Violence and spiritual soulful understanding relating to a religious and societal abortion of the soul.
I am all for unisex lesbian and gay attitudes among consenting adults and I have no issue with the duality of all people. That is not part of the issue except when it includes abuse of minors and those who are victims of abuse
Unfortunately there is no willingness in government and politics to address the issue except through further victimization of the victims by use of drugs and other ineffective therapies that allow parents to feel they are not part of the problem.
The issue is further exacerbated by laws that make therapists and psychologists unwilling to address the victim’s participation in the abuse. In Las Vegas about a decade ago there was a magazine article in which 40 therapists were asked if the victim had a role in their abuse. Only one had the courage to say so. The others know this can be the nexus of legal lawsuits against them.
My ‘twin’ (A doctor of Psychology and a person who tried to help abused people) was a top court witness and activist who I lived with. There were many cases where I proved her wrong and in one case (also associated with her role in Robert Schuyler’s prison outreach which she started) she refused to get the perp put back in prison as the Ventura County Police and Prosecution would have easily done if she had exposed what I proved to her. They had broken laws to keep it (The perp) in jail after the courts backed her expert testimony. She said it would break the professional code of ethics.
This is part of a larger social problem with all professions and lobbying efforts.
