Many in socialist countries around the world wish to believe that the United States does not need anymore weapons to defend itself from other nations, as it has not even one close rival in military might. Indeed the United States military is the strongest force in this Solar System and getting more powerful each year with new technologies to prepare itself to for the future. Recently in an online Think Tank a foreigner complained about the United States overwhelming power stating:

“Do you Yankies really need any more weapons while not allowing the rest of the world to defend itself against you? If your country spent half the money it uses to attacking others and installing puppet governments, on sending aid to civilians and sharing knowledge instead, you probably wouldn’t need such a military force because the world probably wouldn’t dislike you so much!”

Well one think tanker; an American would have none of this and clearly stated:

“First off; Indeed I am a Yankee and pretty proud to be. There are people literally risking their lives to get into my country for a better life. Why; Because The United States of America is the greatest civilization every created in the history of the human species and don’t you ever forget it.”

“Secondly, the United States has a right to defend itself against all potential enemies both foreign and domestic. As a matter of fact us Yankies have given them that mandate in the Constitution. In fact it is our government and it is our government’s number one responsibility to protect this great nation. And yes we must maintain our military and keep an absolute advantage; not only is that a deterrent, but it protects us from those who might plot harm against us who may end up with a leap frog technology and use it to attack us.”

“Third, the United States of America was attacked first. The United States of America is the reason that NAZI Germany was defeated. The United States has funded more to the common good and Third World than the total sum of every other nation in human history; don’t you ever forget that. Further if there are other nations who dislike the United States then they live in ignorance because everyone who knows the truth is trying to move here. There is no greater positive power in the World than that which is brought forth by the inspiration, caring and actual action by the United States of America and her people.”

“Weapons to protect the peace and spread freedom to the world are of value. As nothing else works; we know from history that we must negotiate from a position of strength. We are a strong nation, we will not rest on our laurels, just because our nation is three times the economic power of the top 2-8 nations below us COMBINED. Obviously we know what we are doing and you only need to look at the scoreboard to see it is so. Anyone who bashes my nation or condemns this great nation is merely under informed on the reality of human life on Earth. The World should study what we have build here and they might learn something and do some great things for their own people.”

“For you to think that I have not thought this thru and studied these facts for decades and then tell me to consider your diatribe, comments and condemnations is hilarious. I considered these views from every possible angle; I have also studied those who purport your misguided point of view and I say to you; You know not what you are talking about.”

Wow, you can see how an online think tank can cause controversy when members countries are taken into question. After reviewing both think tankers we have come to the conclusion that not only is the United States the largest and most powerful military in the world, but in fact it appears the second commenter is correct they have given more monies to the third world than any other nation and have wealthy citizens who have privately given more monies to the common good than all the other wealthy citizens of the rest of the world combined. Think on this in 2006.
