Two Shots Fired at the Capital Building

Apparently someone reported two gunshots that they thought they heard near the Capital Building or in the Parking Structure. Now it could have been a false alarm, it could have been a car backfiring. Does this mean someone can put two fire crackers in a trash can and shut down the government?
Of course this happened on a Friday and so everyone working in our government will get nothing done and it is a three-day weekend. Now I am not a conspiracy theorist, but it is absolutely unbelievable that our government is using this excuse to take a four-day weekend. What a pathetic display of wimpiness. Turns out the gun shots report was called in by an anonymous caller? You have to be kidding me?
As the Capitol Police show up and stand around all day for 6-hours looking stupid and making a big deal over nothing, one has to notice all the new vehicles with custom rims on them. Yep, your taxpayer monies at work. What else do we see?
We see a government incapacitated and afraid. Yet they send people to Iraq to fight and die and two-shots or backfires reported and they shut down the whole government. Must be nice to be such pansies in Washington DC? It is rather disappointing that our government is so afraid. What a bunch of losers and sign of weakness? This is our government at work?
Lets face it, if there were two-shots fired anywhere in the United States, two police cars would show up and take a report. Give me a break; obviously these morons are wasting our money. And do you ever notice that this always happens when there are International Terrorist Spending Bills being discussed or funding for domestic security?
The reporters covering the event are saying that the Capitol Police are very professional and well trained. Yah, but they are standing around in giant herds doing nothing. Wow, can I get trained to do that too? Very impressive, all in uniform and looking somewhat spiffy? This is such utter BS, our government will take any excuse to ditch their responsibilities; wimps I tell you. One staffer fainted and that is the grand total of damage today? So, they shut down the government and took a three day weekend.
If you are serving the People, then you should not be afraid of risks in doing that job. These people are wimps and we need to throw them out of OUR government. For all we know it was a gay lover spat with a Lobbyist and a staffer? Please spare us the crap. This is a disgusting display of ineffectual government and weakness. Consider this and these pusses in 2006.
