US Naval ‘Goo’ Blockade
By: Lance Winslow
We have recently seen with oil spills in the world some interesting things. Rescuing Oil Spill Ships we impeded as they were stuck in the “Goo” mixture. Yuk? Your basic “Sea Food Salad Bowl?” One tactic the US has used quite effectively is a “blockade”, we should consider what I call: “Operation Salad Bowl”. Operation Salad Bowl is a mixture of a crude oil spill mixed with food grade oils on the open sea in front of the advancing threat. Throw on a few little croutons and you have your self one gooey mess, which cannot be penetrated by ship or vessel. The croutons will be grape fruit sized polymer gel balls dropped from a large cargo plane, for instance a C-17, C-141, C-5 on the mess. These Polymer Gel Balls will absorb 2000 times their weight in water and will expand. These polymer balls, which dissolve in three days were discovered by a company out of Florida which proposed dropping them on Hurricanes to slow the Hurricane by absorbing the precipitation. The polymer chain formed will be a very thick goo with only a slight modification.
All this gooey mess will eventually dissolve in the salt water thru agitation, but not before that same wave action agitation completes the mixing of the seafood salad bowl. This mixing bowl could be 50 miles long and one mile wide. Any ship trying to get thru the blockade will be rendered dead in the water as the gooey mess gums up the propeller and propulsion system of the cargo, naval or drug running boat. The “Goo” will not appear on radar and will be hard to see until they are nearly upon on it. Large cargo vessels will not be able to turn in time. Drug running boats will be going to fast and too low to the surface to see it in advance. In the case of a blockade of Cuba, simply put it around the island in the shipping lane. In the case of the Middle East there are a few choke points worthy of mention and your job is done. In the case of North Korea, simply hit a few harbors with AUV mixing craft and AUV dispersion craft and they are isolated by sea. Harbors and Canals closed easily just like inlets or choke points such as the: Panama Canal, Suez Canal, Gulf of Oman, Gulf of Aqaba, Entrance to Black Sea, Mediterranean Coastlines to isolate a specific, along the North Korean ports of the yellow sea, etc.
