Voting And Other Lies

Well, it is time once again for those that would rub our face into their lies, to do so again!
The closer Election Day comes the more rubbing we get!
I don’t mind anyone telling the truth nor of telling a lie. If they want to. The lies they tell, reflect upon them! You should first know what the dictionary says is a lie, so as to be on the same page here.
Lie; means to tell a lie, whether the teller knows what he is saying is a lie or not!
Wow! That revelation should open up a new class of people in America! I mean, you could lump about everyone into that class! But for this article, we will be a bit more narrow in our coverage of lying. Mainly, here, we can keep this article’s subject pointed towards Politics, as it affects us here in America. I have trouble with that. Like some magnet that has two North Poles, I tend to wander! I ain’t kidding you here!
Politics, as it is practiced here in this Great Country, is an arena for two types of people. That is; in the main. One is the Lawyers licensed and having enough knowledge of our laws to know that none of them can hold up to the light. That is; there has not been a law written that some Lawyer cannot defend, nor cause their client to circumvent the punishment for their crimes. Or of their being legal in their life and works.
The other class, is Military Professionals. That is what was tapped to lead this country from the very start. Washington was one of the most famous, and most successful, at least during our War for Independence. Earlier in his career, he was of course fighting for his country; the British. As an Officer in Command he lead an expedition to gain control of land, and deny its use and claim by the French. He did two things in this mission that might have affected your life a bit.
One is that he planted; buried in fact; a metal plate, stating that it was to designate and prove his, the British really, “Right of Discovery”. He build a small fort in a hurry, as the French were discovered almost at the same time, in close proximity to his expedition. A fight ensued. Washington lost.
Perhaps that is the reason he was so bold later, in our behalf? One thing is true, he got experience, as all military leaders do. Only this experience was as a defeated leader. One that was gentlemanly released with his surviving men, on his promise to march out of the land. Quaint. But like the silver plate he had buried, an act of Diplomacy, all well known down through history.
In fact, that very thing, in the action of signing a peace treaty back in Europe, that succeeded in England becoming the colonizers of this land, for the most part. France and the Dutch later, grabbed a bit for themselves. But there was, from this treaty, a line some countries were not allowed to cross. Located right about the center of the Atlantic! But it was broken, I do believe. So much for treaties and Diplomacy. As the Native Americans found out later!
There is not much difference between Legal Liars, and Military Liars. To a degree they are educated in the same sciences. Only later do those that pretend to have a sense of pride and proper behavior divide from those that have never developed any! Military Men will act judicially, and gentlemanly. Until they kill you! And they will kill you if ordered to do so! Make no mistake! American citizen or not. Voter or not! So…we are back to the point; finally!
You may not be aware of certain truisms as far as voting in this country. I think this may be astonishing to some voters. One only needs to register; go to the poles, and fill out a single ballot, drop it into a box on your way out the exit.
What could be simpler? Well, doing some research and listening to the verbal platform of the candidate wouldn’t be too much to expect out of proper citizens. Too bad. You see, those platform planks are not only verbal, written or not, to be abandoned often by the winners of the vote!
And now, it is about time for some radio host, wanting to score huge shares of the broadcast audience, and that equates to money for advertising, by making the lying comment they always do. “Only those who vote have the right to speak!” Wow!
If that is true? Where is that in the Constitution? I ain’t read that yet!
Only the stupid believe in such lies! Stupid believes lies all to easily, that’s why lies are expounded in the first place. You hear that, and you believe that? Nuts!
You register and go vote to; in essence; defend this countries Constitution, and declaration of Independence. You agree? Then why deny anyone the right to freely express their opinions about Politics, events, voting, candidates, or issues? The very act of voting you defend the paperwork, document that founded this country, then turn to break all of the tenants of them! Outrageous!
No one could be that stupid! But there are. They are on the radio, shouting amen, and seconding the host! How is that for stupid? Lets frame a few other truths instead of lies about voting and elections.
You, nor anyone else, of the citizenry, actually vote for a President! There is a Committee in Congress; your representatives, that are the real voters! That was set up by the documents and laws of this country to prevent someone of crismatic ability to cultivate the populace into voting for him!
An example? Governor of California, Swarthy-Nezzer! For one. There is a huge group of moneyed people trying to make this Nazi lover’s dreams come true!
The vote was once defended to the point of killing those that would take the ballot box and keep it from being counted! In order to “stuff” it after the election! In an Eastern State, in one small town, a county seat; there was an incumbent official and sheriff that thought they could grab the boxes and do as they had always done! When they expected the vote to go against them, they simply “protected” the Ballot Boxes by taking them to the local jail, or Court house, I forget which. But that year, right after the first World War, was one of change.
Veterans, who had seen and fought people just like their own elected officials in other countries, understood the danger in not taking action to stop such acts. That is the only thing that stopped the people that would not give up power.
The Veterans busted the locks at the local armory. They placed machine-guns to a crossfire on the building. They crawled under the model “T’s” along the streets and blew the jail up! One small snap, and the whole country changed! Too bad the “Mr. Big” ran in time to avoid the next small snap! Those left behind sued for peace. The Veterans took the Ballot Boxes and counted them in public! You seen the “critter”? Then you change! I ain’t kidding you here!
Now for the forecasting of “averages”. Yes, averages. That is the main focus here today! What are the odds, of a single person who is standing on the street of your city, to be hit by a comet? Very low, you would say. Right! Now; what are the odds of his being struck by two comets at the same instant? No way you say! Oh, but I think it is possible! Not only that, but others, standing in other cities, on other streets, are also hit by two comets at the same time! Now; try to figure those “odds”? You can’t! Because there is not enough digits in the world to tell you the odds! A zillion computers, all working at the same time; would not come up with the odds; not in your lifetime! And more to the point; fall upon your head two at a time! But you and I are expected to believe that not only could it happen, but it has! Twice!
13,465 Votes. (a made up number for example) were cast for the election of two state candidates in Texas! Wow! What a weird thing, a comet hit! Hit the same person twice! At the same time! Now what are the odds? But wait! The same number of ballots was cast for other candidates in the same race, in other states! Whoa! Now what are the odds of that happening? Impossible. That is the “Odds” and that is the truth!
The thing you have to figure out is; who is lying; and who is lying?
