We Are With the Government and We are Here to Help You

Well isn’t that special indeed, but who invited you and what makes you think I need or want your help. You see, the government does not do anything very well and I, well I do everything I do very well. And therefore I do not want your help and I certainly do not trust you to help others using my money? Why don’t you just go away and stop wasting everyone’s time with your bogus plans, initiatives and social programs. The governments job is to protect the American People, not economically enslave them or rule over every aspect of life.
Ronald Reagan once said that the worst phrase in the English Language is; We Are With the Government and We are Here to Help You. Interesting comment and even to this day it is so true. In fact the best way for the government to help us is to; Get Out of The Way!
In business there are so many rules and regulations everywhere you turn, which hamper the progress of entrepreneurs and freedoms and yet rather than fixing the problem the government just keeps on making more silly and worthless rules and piles fertilizer on top of bigger and bigger piles. It one never ending problem and perpetual law of unintended consequences shored up by yet more laws and we progress. We need a red-magic market committee and get rid of some of this crap. Consider all this in 2006.
