We Must Increase Spending on Military Defense Research 10 Fold Now

It is imperative right now that we plan ahead and remain the leader of the free world. While other nations are growing rapidly they will go thru Industrial type revolutions as we did. But in the high-tech age more modern technology will be added to that. If we are to remain in the lead we will need to advance faster and faster to keep up with the pending technology curve. By spending monies in Research and Development now we can assist our companies, government, schools, space program and military keep up with that future challenge. By putting forth monies in Defense Spending we will be able to have incredible spin off technologies in health care and lower our outlays as our population ages and lives longer. By spending now we can come up with advanced materials to make things lighter, stronger and more efficient for everything from building materials to aircraft to automobiles. By spending now we can increase our ability to guard against Internet and computer hackers. By spending now we can stave off killer storms like Hurricane Katrina and prevent economic ruin and loss of life in various regions. By spending now we will discover areas of science we had not even considered.
Lets be smart and spend where we get the most bang for our buck for the future of our great nation. Now is no time to sit back on our laurels with pride and say we are the best. Fore even though it may be fact, we are Americans and this quite frankly is not good enough yet, we can do better and we must press on. You think about that and think about it hard. Because if we fail to take this opportunity now, we will pay for it for centuries.
