Wedding Music - Let The Music Play
By: Lesley-Ann Graham
If there’s one necessary element to any gathering, it’s music. Music is what keeps your gathering from being a boring convention. The music can add a touch of romance as well as a touch of spice to your party.
If you’ll notice, most TV shows and movies have music playing in the background. It keeps the scene from becoming totally flat and boring. The music actually enhances the experience just as it can for your wedding, even if you choose to just have a bunch of CDs playing on a music player in the corner.
Of course, if you really want to get people in the mood, nothing will beat a live performance. Wedding singers are a fantastic addition to any wedding, especially one that has a wide repertoire. If you want dancing, nothing beats the big band music played by - you guessed it - an actual big band.
Of course, if budget is a concern, just hire a great DJ. Ask him to play you a mix of romantic ballads and some dance music. Ask him to help you keep the party spirits up. They can even provide you more variety in terms of genre since you can have some ballroom, some hip hop, some disco and of course some classics to keep the party jumping.
Let your music express how you feel. Get everyone into the romantic and party mood. Just don’t forget to listen to all the lyrics otherwise you may be surprised at what you hear on the speakers.
